Where sparkling waters, beautiful people, historic neighborhoods, a thriving nightlife and the rich sounds of Samba give this Brazilian city its reputation as one of the most striking in the world! There are endless reasons why travel lovers put this unique city on their bucket list time and time again. So, brush up on your Portuguese and join us as we embark on this cultural, beachy and highly adventurous Brazilian Getaway.

Please note: IF JFK OR EWR AIRPORTS ARE NOT CLOSE TO YOU, WE CAN HELP YOU FIND FLIGHTS! ALL ARE WELCOMED! 21 AND UP! As of now Brazil REQUIRES that you show your vax CARD prior to entering the country, as well as a negative PCR test. Those are the ONLY two health related requirements that you'll need to enter the country. Be sure to have at least two open passport paged in addition to no LESS than 6 months left before your passport expires. ALSO, your flight needs to depart the DAY BEFORE the official "Day 1"arrival date. In order to arrive on the 14th of feb, you must depart from your home airport on the 13th of feb. This is due to time zone differences, and one short layover in route.
Lets get into the itinerary:
Day 1- : Welcome to Brazil!
You'll be whisked away to your 4+ star hotel accommodations by our private shuttle driver. Take the day to yourself and enjoy some down time at one of Rios infamous beaches, or sit poolside at the hotel. Make sure to cool down by sipping on a fresh caipirinha; Brazils national drink. Or, simply catch up on some sleep. Tonight we will all come together for our traditional Glossy Getaways Welcome dinner.
Day 2- : Classic Rio Must-Do's
You haven't experienced Rio De Janeiro if you haven't: been to Christ The Redeemer and Sugar Loaf Mountain. These two bucket list destinations are Rio MUST DO's! We'll kick off our experience with this!
Day 3 - Sail Away:
Today we are hitting the open seas to enjoy several hours of relaxation, sun, good music and tasty drinks as we party the day away off the cost line of this tropical South American paradise and head off into the sunset!
Day 4 & 5 - Free day:
In Rio, the weekends are taken very serious. Culturally this is a time to relax at the beach, drink, party and enjoy life. There is ALWAYS something going on during the weekends in Rio, we'll take Saturday and Sunday to party, recover, and party again ;)
Day 6- : Favela Street Tour
The "other" Rio ... Favelas are known as "lower class" slum neighborhoods in Rio but are tight knit communities with their own laws and regulations. You can also find views of a Favela in Snoop Dogs 'Beautiful' music video. Favelas have experienced historical governmental neglect since the beginning of time and were intentionally made up of former African slaves that were not welcomed in wealthier areas or unable to afford living in many other areas of Rio. Although Favelas have a bad reputation, there is a strong sense of community in each Favela and many locals began hosting guided tours through the favelas to break the negative stigma of these communities, and turning them into an important tourist attraction in Brazil; At Glossy Getaways we strongly promote experiencing all sides of travel, in reality it isn't all glitz and glam. However, good people and mind opening experiences can be found in places you may least expect them to be. We are very much FOR thee culture and Brazil has a very deep African culture that is often hidden in places like Favelas. Today we will take a guided tour with a local Favela resident who owns a very popular tour company. We will gain first hand experience, on the good and bad side of these communities Of course the tour is optional, but HIGHLY recommended.
Day 7: Hang gliding/parasail/helicopter OR free day!
If you're an adrenaline junkie today is your day! Take a few hours out of your day to head to a very special location that does some of the best hang gliding experiences in Rio! If you'd prefer to keep your feet on the ground, you've got the full day to do anything you'd like! We can help you set up activities or you can have some R&R at the beach, by the pool or anywhere else you'd like!
Day 8: Departure
After our last breakfast in Brazil, we will be transported to the airport to head back home with new experiences, friendships and stories to tell!

All payments made are non refundable and non transferable, unless a getaway is canceled by Glossy Getaways due to an unforeseen circumstances like Government shut downs or covid-19 pandemic. If you decide not to go on a Getaway all payments are non refundable and non transferable.
In the event of an unforeseen cancelation BY Glossy Getaways, the getaway will be postponed to another date and a credit will be issued for the amount available for another Glossy Getaway. The credit can be used towards the postponed getaway or any other (non-sold out) getaway within a 12 month period. After 12 months the credit will be null and void.
The amount of any credit can be effected by airlines policies (where applicable) , and tour company cancelation policies as well. Airlines can take up to 120 days for refunds. In the event of any cancellations at fault of the airlines or tour companies, the amount of the refund will be based on their individual refund policies only.
Given the ever changing international traveling, COVID related guidelines, it is recommended by Glossy Getaways to at least HAVE a vaccine card. Although it may not always be necessary or even mandatory (based on the country of entry). Glossy Getaways will inform you of any/all required documentation that must be completed to gain entry into any country. Thoroughly reading all of the details provided by Glossy Getaways is necessary to avoid any confusion. Glossy Getaways will not be held accountable or responsible for any documents missing due to not thoroughly reading. Glossy Getaways will not be held accountable/responsible for any trip based misunderstandings due to not thoroughly reading guidelines and any documents sent out by Glossy Getaways to participating Getaway Guests.
If a country requires any entry paperwork or documentation that you fail to produce, a refund will not be available. Glossy Getaways will not be held accountable for handling or producing personal and individual documents required to enter any country.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and also suggested. This is something that can be purchased at your own expense. Glossy Getaways does not provide travel insurance, but many companies who sell travel insurance can be found online by doing a simple google search.
Flight pricing for packages that include flights in the total cost, are contingent upon flights not exceeding the allotted amount set per each individual Glossy Getaway. Example: if the package includes up to $1200 towards flights, and flights end up being OVER $1200, the guest is held responsible for the remaining cost of the flight, after the allotted package cost has been subtracted
All policies are subject to change and all Glossy Getaways itineraries are tentative can be adjusted as to the needs of each getaway.
By signing up for a Glossy Getaway with your submission form and making your first installment/deposit payment, you acknowledge that you have fully read, understand and agree to abide by this contractual agreement of Glossy Getaways rules and regulations.
