Are you ready for some Colombian heat this summer? Join us on our fully hosted group trip to the beautifully colorful, party city of Cartagena, Colombia! From the walled city of Cartagena, the artistic neighborhood of Getsemani and Palenque (- the first freed African town in all of the Americas). Immerse yourself in the rich Latina culture and Afro-Colombian history. Dine on delicious Caribbean/Colombian food, enjoy the music and a vibrant nightlife. Cartagena is LIT! Get ready to soak up some sun at one of the many nearby islands, connect with locals and catch all the vibes that this entertaining city has to offer. Lets Get into the itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive in Cartagena, Colombia
Welcome to Colombia! You will arrive at Cartagena de Indias International Airport, where your arranged transportation will be there waiting to take you to your boutique hotel.
After giving you some time to relax and take in how beautiful your surroundings are, our festivities will officially commence, with a Chiva party bus; an experience in it's own. Cartagena's night life is perfectly set up for tourism with plenty of entertainment, clubs, bars and my all time favorite, roof top bars. Cartagena after dark is a vibe!
Day 2: Volcano Mud bath
Before the streets start getting busy, we will begin our day with a professional photoshoot. Following the shoot we will head off to El Totumo, for a one of a kind volcanic mud bath experience, inside of an actual volcano!
The rest of the day will be yours to explore upon our return from our mud bath experience!
Day 3: Yacht Party!
It's the weekend, so naturally we have to hop on our private yacht and set sail into the Caribbean sea to a nearby party island that sits in the middle of the ocean.
Day 4: FREE DAY!
You deserve it! Make the best of today by doing whatever your heart desires! Sleep in, lay out by the pool, explore the city .. day drink! The day and night is yours to spend it how you'd like with your new travel besties!
Day 5: Palenque
An hour and a half outside of Cartagena is the historic town of Palenque. This is the first freed African town in all of the Americas (North, South and Central America). You will learn SO much about Afro-Colombian history and culture in this town all while interacting with locals that still live here and the stars of the show are a group of young student dancers that come with all the Colombian Flava! After returning the rest of the day/evening is all yours.
Day 6: Free Day/Farewell Dinner:
Take the day to yourself! Head to a beach club, rooftop lounge, or just allow yourself to chill and relax. Make sure to do any last minuet shopping ... tomorrow we say goodbye!
Day 7: Departure
Sadly we have to all part ways at this point. Our drivers will safely deliver you back to the airport, to board your flights and head home. We hope this Colombian Glossy Getaway was one for the books (and it will be) !

The grand total of the trip can be paid in full, paid in larger increments than listed OR made exactly as the payment schedule is listed above. NO payments will be accepted on due dates that is LESS than the listed above amount. A monthly reminder will be sent out to everyone. Payments will be accepted on or before the date of the scheduled payment plans.
All payments are non refundable and non transferable, unless a getaway is postponed/canceled by Glossy Getaways due to an unforeseen event like the covid-19 pandemic. If you decide not to go on a getaway all payments are non refundable and non transferable.
In the event of an unforeseen/pandemic related cancelation BY Glossy Getaways, the getaway will be postponed to another date and a credit will be issued. The credit can be used towards the postponed getaway or any other (non-sold out) getaway within a 12 month period. After 12 months the credit will be null and void.
The amount of any credit will also be based upon the airlines policies, and tour company cancelation policies as well. Airlines can take up to 120 days for refunds. In the event of any cancellations at fault of the airlines or tour companies, the amount of the refund will be based on their individual refund policies only.
Given the ever changing international traveling COVID related guidelines, it is recommended by Glossy Getaways to have a vaccine card, although it may not always be necessary pr mandatory (based on the country of entry). Glossy Getaways will inform you of any/all required documentation that must be completed to gain entry into any country. Thoroughly reading all of the details provided by Glossy Getaways is absolutely necessary to avoid any confusion, as Glossy Getaways will not be held responsible for any incorrect or personal missing documentation.
If a country requires any covid19 related paperwork or documentation and you fail to comply or produce such documentation, a refund will not be available.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and suggested, and can be purchased for an additional cost. Glossy Getaways will not be held accountable or responsible for any medical or covid-19 related issues while abroad.
Flight pricing for packages that include flights in the total cost, are contingent upon flights not exceeding the allotted amount set per each individual Glossy Getaway. Example: if the package includes up to $500 towards flights, and flights cost HIGHER than the allotted $500, the guest is held responsible for the remaining cost of the flight. For those who choose a package that includes flights, Glossy Getaways does our absolute best to track flights and grab the best deals possible.
All policies are subject to change and all Glossy Getaways itineraries are tentative can be adjusted as to the needs of each getaway.
By making your first payment, and every payment thereafter you acknowledge that you have fully read, understand and agree to abide by Glossy Getaways rules and regulations.
