This is NOT going to be your typical Egyptian experience, we aren't just stopping at the Great Pyramids of Giza, because there is SO much more to learn about and see in Egypt. We will immerse ourselves in the culture and learn so much about ancient Egyptian civilization. Culture enthusiasts, this one is for you!
Please note: This Getaway may not be fore you if you're not ready to experience new things, by immersing yourself in a different culture, with a positive attitude. If you're not ready let go of stereotypical Americanized vacation experiences. If you physically struggle walking distances, up/down stairs and/or uneven rocky surfaces, or if you don't like being outside. Please consider this before booking or feel free to message us with questions! We recommend this getaway to a 20 and UP crowd. Please note: IF you select the package that includes flights, you will be flying out of either JFK OR EWR AIRPORTS. If these airports WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU, please select the package that does NOT include flights. ALL ARE WELCOMED, regardless of race, religion or sexuality! 20 AND UP! As of now Egypt ONLY requires that you show your vax CARD prior to entering the country, or have a negative PCR test. VISA IS GIVEN ON ARRIVAL FOR $50 USD - CASH ONLY! Those are the ONLY two health related requirements that you'll need to enter the country. Be sure to have at least two open passport paged in addition to no LESS than 6 months left before your passport expires. IN ADDITION, your flight needs to depart ONE DAY BEFORE the official "Day 1"arrival date. In order to arrive on the 8th of October, you must depart from your home airport on the 7th of October. This is due to time zone changes, and one possible short layover in route. We suggest looking for flights with a daytime arrival into Cairo.

Lets get into the itinerary:
Day 1- Welcome to Egypt!
You'll be whisked away to your 4+ star hotel accommodations by our private shuttle driver. Take the day to yourself and enjoy some down time, or simply catch up on some sleep. Tonight we will all come together for our traditional Glossy Getaways Welcome dinner on the Nile River.
Day 2- The Great Pyramids of Giza
Day 3- We OUT!
Today we'll be hopping on a domestic flight to the beautiful city of Luxor, as our adventure continues! Luxor is a beautiful city that much more lush and green than Cairo and Giza, but just as ancient. You'll be able to enjoy some free time after checking into our beautiful new hotel today!
Day 4- Luxor exploration
Luxor is filled to the brim with so much Egyptian history and hieroglyphics, If you thought the Pyramids were impressive, wait until we start exploring the ancient temples (tombs) of all the Egyptian royalty. Today we will head to the Valley of the Kings, The Luxor Temple and tour around the city. We'll finish up with a sunset dinner cruise on the River Nile.
Day 5- : Luxor - the adventure continues!
We'll start the day with an optional group activity and then allow you to have the rest of the day to yourself! to relax, shop or continue to explore the city. We always suggest taking full advantage of free time!
Day 6- October 21: Road trip!
Today we will say goodbye to Luxor as we go on a 4 hour road trip through the desert, as we make our way to the costal city of Hurghada; where the tropical part of our Getaway officially begins. Who knew Egypt had sparkling blue waters? Just wait until you see for yourself!
Day 7- : FULL free day!

One last hoorah for this amazing Egyptian experience as we sail away on the Red Sea!
Day 9- Departure:
After our last breakfast in Egypt, we will be transported to the airport to head back home with new experiences, friendships and stories to tell!

All payments made are non refundable and non transferable, unless a getaway is canceled by Glossy Getaways due to an unforeseen circumstances like Government shut downs or covid-19 pandemic. If you decide not to go on a Getaway all payments are non refundable and non transferable.
In the event of an unforeseen cancelation BY Glossy Getaways, the getaway will be postponed to another date and a credit will be issued for the amount available for another Glossy Getaway. The credit can be used towards the postponed getaway or any other (non-sold out) getaway within a 12 month period. After 12 months the credit will be null and void.
The amount of any credit can be effected by airlines policies (where applicable) , and tour company cancelation policies as well. Airlines can take up to 120 days for refunds. In the event of any cancellations at fault of the airlines or tour companies, the amount of the refund will be based on their individual refund policies only.
Given the ever changing international traveling, COVID related guidelines, it is recommended by Glossy Getaways to at least HAVE a vaccine card. Although it may not always be necessary or even mandatory (based on the country of entry). Glossy Getaways will inform you of any/all required documentation that must be completed to gain entry into any country. Thoroughly reading all of the details provided by Glossy Getaways is necessary to avoid any confusion. Glossy Getaways will not be held accountable or responsible for any documents missing due to not thoroughly reading. Glossy Getaways will not be held accountable/responsible for any trip based misunderstandings due to not thoroughly reading guidelines and any documents sent out by Glossy Getaways to participating Getaway Guests.
If a country requires any entry paperwork or documentation that you fail to produce, a refund will not be available. Glossy Getaways will not be held accountable for handling or producing personal and individual documents required to enter any country.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and also suggested. This is something that can be purchased at your own expense. Glossy Getaways does not provide travel insurance, but many companies who sell travel insurance can be found online by doing a simple google search.
Flight pricing for packages that include flights in the total cost, are contingent upon flights not exceeding the allotted amount set per each individual Glossy Getaway. Example: if the package includes up to $1200 towards flights, and flights end up being OVER $1200, the guest is held responsible for the remaining cost of the flight, after the allotted package cost has been subtracted
All policies are subject to change and all Glossy Getaways itineraries are tentative can be adjusted as to the needs of each getaway.
By signing up for a Glossy Getaway with your submission form and making your first installment/deposit payment, you acknowledge that you have fully read, understand and agree to abide by this contractual agreement of Glossy Getaways rules and regulations.
